A carbon win-win

We don’t often talk about the environmental impact of furnishing our homes; for example, a new sofa has an average carbon footprint of a whopping 90kg. By choosing to rent rather than buy a staging kit you are already reducing the environmental impact of your marketing. We believe we are the UK’s first property staging company founded on defined green goals. We want to shout about carbon-saving from the roof tops!

What goes around...

At Annabel & Co, our business is built on sustainability with a focus on the circular economy. By investing in vintage and pre-loved kit, along with British-made items, we can pass on a significant carbon saving to you. It’s something we can all feel good about.

We aim for a minimum of 25% pre-loved items in each of our staging kits.

Staging & the sharing economy

“A sharing economy can be described as an economic model in which goods and resources are shared by individuals and groups in a collaborative way such that physical assets become services. The sharing economy enables people and organizations to earn profits from underutilized resources.” Corporate Finance Institute

By carefully curating each kit, Annabel & Co offer both style and sustainability.

Why 1% matters

Participating in Oxford Brookes Business School’s Green Skills for Small Businesses programme has given Annabel & Co the tools to analyse our environmental impact and create an action plan. Aiming for a daily goal of 1% improvement is both achievable and impactful month on month. Our overarching plan is to gain B-Corp status.
